Waking up a bit earlier after an easy night was good. The morning food is ok.

Physics lectures involved deciphering my fucking timetable, it is way too complicated.

Joined CubeSat, I have to learn C and program an altitude detector within one month LOL.

Tonight in matt's block with martin's friends was good, introducing an induction system was a good idea until i had to do it myself.

As I told you guys there are always people awake in beaumont, I should've been to bed an hour ago.

Today we inducted those from outside block 8. It involved absynthe, some unknown black shit, beer, running and spatulas.

Truancy bots caught us by the eyes and raped us. We are plotting to destroy them.

Monday was fun.

Martin woke me up with a phone call at early o'clock, I missed breakfast again. Pot noodles are beginning to taste worse.

I'm all registered with my department so I have shit all to do tomorrow which is good.

Fresher's fayre was fun for joining societies. I'm with physics, rocket physics, maths, computing, vikings and some charity thing. Tomorrow I'm going to join real ale, curry and possibly the muslims (free curry!).

Went out with some block lads to the beaumont local which was good, then headed off to the union which was packed.

Met an all right bunch of lasses and was doing pretty well with a particular lady. However her friends wanted to leave early so I ended up heading back to theirs where she made me hot chocolate. Fucking ace. There I made a lot of friends with people on the floor below martin's.

A load of people were in my hall lobby drinking and managed to steal my door handle, I got it back fortunately but I've got a spanner to get in just in case.

A dude up the hall's room mate hasn't turned up so he has a massive room that we're now using as a common room. Everyone from my block is pretty awesome, except most of the girls who like to not leave their rooms. Everyone likes chicago town mini pizzas, because they're awesome and delicious.

I need sleep and sobering up.

So I'm here and alive which is a plus.

Last night was fantastic, everyone went to one of the halls bars and got very drunk.

I met loads of people and I can't remember the names of any of them other than matt (not denmark), because he's doing physics and roger because he looks like my old chinese driving instructor, who also happened to be called roger.

I love everyone here.

Matt and Martin have turned up today, it's going to be a good few years.

My life continues to throw retarded crap at me, hence why I'm writing this today instead of tomorrow. My halls sent an email telling me that I'm meant to arrive tomorrow instead of Sunday.

Shit.

Apparently "I may have already been sent" information on this. Lies.

So the summer has been fantastic. Amsterdam, Pratten's Birthday, France, Exam Results, Celebrating Exam Results, V Festival, READING, Honky's Birthday, Spore and more days spent at Rob's than I care to count.

Now I'm going to go finish packing, see you all at christmas!

I have a new calculator for those who don't know.

I was going through a C2 past paper, and along comes the question -

Solve -

log 2 (x + 1) – log 2 x = log 2 7 (With the log 2 meaning log base 2)

So I decided to input it into my calculator and check the outcome - 0.5.

I worked it out and that's the actual answer! Holy crap C2 just got a whole lot faster.

Yes I know I haven't done a New Years post as of yet so this may as well be it. In the new year I plan to spend about half my time making learnings and the other half becoming and being pretty wankered.

Of course that plan breaks down around about early september where I shall ship myself off to lands unknown, to meet my destiny analysing the physical laws of the universe. Currently I only have a single offer, which is from Swansea. I don't mind Wales but I'd really like other options.

I'll do my best to see all my good friends, 2007 was a good year for reinforcing friendships. However I can see it being a bit tricky, we're going to all be spread over the country for a start, plus we can only really do anything out of term time. Since we're in the digital era, chances are guys I'll completely give up on facebook and msn so you better get used to me emailing you.

I just spent the last 7-8 hours revising, I should've done more before now, it's lucky these are only resits.

News update - Flights

The EasyJet flights have just come up, we could wait a while, however research has learned me that after a short while prices begin to increase randomly. Since we can only go from Stanstead on July 1st this means that if prices do increase then we're stuck with them which is GAY and FAIL.

Conclusion: You guys give me money now and I'll get it all booked up and out of the way.

Price: £57 per person

That includes a single bag in the hold which is useful.

Going out is an early start on July 1st, dep. 07:00, arr. 09:10, other than that we have to go late which involves not making the most of Amstradam.

Coming back on July 8th we can do 17:15 and arr. 17:20 or 21:10 and arr. 21:15, I'm thinking the later one should be good, either way it only takes 5 minutes, good old easyjet.

You can pay me with cash, or if it's easier then you can transfer straight into my bank account, I'll just have to give you my details.
